SENATE BILL 2 (CODIFIED
01/01/2024)
Senate Bill 2 (known as California's anti CCW gun laws bill) which
passed legislation in California went into effect on 01/01/2024 has many provisions whereas lawmakers can make
changes and add additional laws without going through the typical legislative hearing process. Once a new law
is introduced under SB2, it usually becomes codified (entered in to law) within 15 days or less.
